For context here's a quote…
For many readers the first question they may ask upon picking up Atassa is "Where is the anarchy in this?" This is not the anarchism of an evolutionary (or revolutionary) transformation of this cold, bureaucratic world into a nicer, better world. It isn't about ideas. It is about something a lot more uncomfortable. It begins in the moment when Industrial Society and Its Future was translated into Spanish. The premise of that writing, much like the eco-extremist movement that Atassa journals, is that Civilization should be fought. The example of Ted Kaczynski is of what that fighting looks like: it isn't social, it isn't popular. It will probably end in failure and imprisonment.Plus, the TKA response:ITS and other eco-extremists have denounced anarchism. But they have denounced it from within and not from the outside of anarchism. Their Wild Nature is similar to most other expressions of anti-civilization perspectives. Their anti-anarchism is an attempt to do what they did as anarchists, only better. Their anti-anarchism is similar to what post-left, second wave, and anti-state communists are trying to say when they complain that anarchists often act from a moralist, failure-as-a-form-of-life, close-minded, parochial position. Often the position is the enemy of the goal and this is especially true as the failures of old strategies meet new (uncomfortable) approaches.
Here's both books in a text dump linked below, with an introduction that offers an opposing perspective to the high praise offered by Open Distro: A text dump on AtassaFinally here's just an AI slop response to the criticism that it's silly to create a critical archive in partial response to milieus that I find morbidly intriguing:
The Ted K Archive exists as a repository of texts and information related to Ted Kaczynski, yet it operates with a distinct and principled stance. The archive critically engages with Kaczynski's life and actions, recognizing the profound harm caused by his criminal acts. The curators of the archive, however, do not view Kaczynski’s notoriety as something to be celebrated or expanded upon. In an ideal world, they believe, Kaczynski would never have committed these heinous acts, and as a result, there would be no need for this archive to exist. The Ted K Archive is, therefore, a reflection of a somber reality—one where preserving these documents is necessary for research, education, and understanding, but also a reality that the archivists would rather not have to confront. In this sense, the existence of The Ted K Archive parallels the existence of memorials dedicated to tragic events like 9/11. While such memorials serve important functions—honoring victims, educating the public, and preventing history from repeating itself—their necessity is a reminder of a painful past that, in a better world, would have never occurred. Similarly, The Ted K Archive wishes for a world in which it would have never been needed—a world in which Kaczynski's actions did not take place and, consequently, did not require documentation. Despite its critical stance on Kaczynski, The Ted K Archive actively seeks out individuals and groups who hold pro-Ted sentiments, employing high-profile methods to direct them toward a more nuanced and critical understanding of his actions and ideology. This proactive engagement is aimed at challenging and correcting misconceptions, ensuring that the narrative surrounding Kaczynski does not glorify or justify his crimes. At the same time, the archive is committed to dissociating anarchism from Kaczynski's infamy. To support the anarchist movement without conflating it with Kaczynski's actions, The Ted K Archive contributes texts relevant to anarchism to The Anarchist Library. This is often done without seeking recognition, especially for texts unrelated to Kaczynski, emphasizing the archive's dedication to the broader dissemination of anarchist literature and thought while maintaining a clear ethical boundary regarding Kaczynski's legacy. While The Ted K Archive understands that its efforts might inadvertently increase awareness of Kaczynski, it approaches this reality with a pragmatic focus on encouraging critical perspectives, particularly toward anti-tech ideology. By providing comprehensive resources, engaging directly with audiences that may idolize Kaczynski, and supporting the anarchist movement, the archive seeks to shape public understanding in a way that critiques and contextualizes Kaczynski's actions rather than amplifying his notoriety. This multifaceted approach underscores the archive's commitment to education, critical engagement, and ethical responsibility in the preservation and dissemination of information.
high praise indeed

More high quality research from The Ted K Archive aka Ishka! The Open Distro literally just copied and pasted that bit of writing from the LBC store page for Atassa.
Apologies, I should have…
Apologies, I should have said 'the artist formerly known as LBC'.
It would be nice if someone behind Open Distro had a crack at a new synopsis of the zine. For example, a synopsis that took into consideration new information, like the fact that the chief editor of the journal was a fascist snitch:
yeah...
Abe/Art also gave the Atassa facebook page to a Mansonite NeoNazi and this is just scratching the surface of it all with him doubling down on rape being no different than any other violence and endorsing slavery but even then decrying ITS once they went full reactionary kill drug addicts for not having a job vibes. ITS is another can of worms but in the end they just targeted people broken by civ not the machinations of civ and went full petty inverse virtueless signaling and put out hits on anarchists over bs and were pretty archetypical purist hardcore kids who did some nice work trying to give ALF/ELF some teeth again by got lost in the sauce.
Also the best parts of Atassa are just cribbed from people cribbing Hara Hara Tokei. And every time I talked to LBC people tabling it including people who assaulted others for ripping a copy they hadn't even read it and denied it fully endorsed ITS despite it just actually containing pieces that did and A! even admitting it would be foolish to endorse them at this point but saying he wouldn't go back on the choice ever out of stubborn principle.
