Libraries & Museums

Are not libraries and museums stores of "knowledge" and "truth"?—reification; an attempt to control and perpetuate specific narratives.

This "anarchist library" is just a collection of stories some people are telling each other.

I would have initiated this discussion in response to things already written by certain thinkers, as t@l forum administrators have requested, but those texts are not uploaded to the library because they aren't "anarchist" enough.

Nah, this isn't that anon. Foucault is kinda shit to me.

There's too many to list. Wittgenstein, Kierkegaard, Bachelard, Lyotard has been mentioned but there's also Feyerabend. The list goes on and on but is not necessarily populated by "anarchists". Which only reinforces the point. Adding thinkers like the ones I just mentioned would be of great benefit to an "anarchist" audience.

Feyerabend is already in The Anarchist Library. If you want to add more of his writing, go for it. Click 'Add Text.'
