Apologies if this is a silly question, but I can't see an FAQ for adding new texts to the library. I understand how to add a new text and have done so. It was really easy :) But what happened next was a little confusing. The automated email I got includes a prompt to publish the changes (and hence to publish the text) but that url takes me to a log in page, and I don't have a login for the site. I presume that needs to be done by a site admin? But if so, I'm not sure why I received the prompt to publish it. Maybe it's a quirk of the site's back end?

Does this site allowed web crawling and scraping tools such as ones used by the site zimit? I’m working on a personal archiving project and one of the things I’d like to have a copy of is the anarchist library as I believe its an incredibly important resource that should be preserved, and I can’t think of any reasonable way to download every single entry so I’d like to use a ziming tool and simply archive the site as is.

I recently submitted a copy of Dean Spade's new book - "Love in a F*cked-Up World: How to Build Relationships, Hook Up, and Raise Hell Together," but it has not yet shown up in the library, despite having a publishing date in September. Is there a reason it has not yet been posted?

Is there a specific forum like this for leftists?

Is there a chance we could record audio versions of the texts? I'm not sure how this would work, although I would volunteer to record them. If this is already a thing, you can delete this.

Hi, I understand this isn’t the suggested channel but I can’t get Matrix or IRC to work. I’m just making a suggestion.

It would be awesome if search results could be sorted by original publishing date, and if this were displayed next to each result - as opposed to the current system which shows the date a text was uploaded to the site.

This would be a great help as it would allow users to search for and read an authors work in chronological order.

really respect what this project accomplishes and have learned a lot from things across the library over the years. a couple days ago (Jan. 9th), I spent a couple hours editing an HTML of a document titled "White Supremacy Clture-- Still Here" by Tema Okun. I don't see it anywhere on new entries or when I search for it using various keywords. Just curious if I messed up somehow or if it's still being looked over.

I would like to upload “Means and Ends: The Revolutionary Practice of Anarchism in Europe and the United States” by Zoe Baker. Libcom.org has the PDF, approved by Zoe (See: https://x.com/anarchopac/status/1812382509079920895) — Can I run into legal trouble with the publishing company by uploading this book, given I don’t have direct permission? — Also, I can’t remember where I read it but somewhere on The Anarchist Library site said to ask the forums how to upload PDF’s. Is there a preferred method? The PDF is a direct copy of the print book.
