My two cents Ishkah Wed, 05/20/2026 - 00:38 I'm not a librarian on the project, but here are my thoughts: If it's a modern text where the author is still alive you could message the author and they'd likely appreciate it. Or, if it's a machine error from a photo scan conversion they're always good to clean up. Otherwise likely not, unless it's a really really obvious spelling error the old author would have likely wanted fixing. Anything where it's spelling & grammar style differences by region it's definitely important to leave as is. Reply
